Who'll Stop The Rain!
So yesterday was my new weekly ride in Columbia Mo, as I approached, the weather was looking quite imminent, actually it was raining like crazy! I pulled up to the starting point to see that my friends bike was sitting out in the rain, just waiting to go for a ride, I pulled it into the garage and we started to watch as the rain got heavier and heavier. Modern technologies allow us to follow radar...
No Ride, No Subject
Yesterday I didn’t ride so just a little recap of the first couple of weeks back on the bike. Week 1 got in 117 miles, week 2 got 120 miles, 3 days of riding this week and I have 66 miles so far and a big ride in Columbia this afternoon. Yesterday I did my own mechanic work on my bike, saving me a large amount of money. I need to start doing all my own work as long as I don’t mess...
Long Branch Short Roads
Oh man yesterday was a great ride! Long Branch is really a beautiful park that doesn’t get used all that often, other than the boaters and walkers, but what an incredible lake that is surrounded by trails and gravel roads. The paved portion of the lake is only about 4.5 miles one way from the marina, around Long Branch Lake, across the dam, and then around Macon Lake, then you turn around...
1000 miles from no where
Well yesterday was an uneventful day at work, but what the hell is new? I just want to say how incredible the weather has been here, you could not ask for better temps in August. Last nights ride actually had a little milestone in the middle. After the twelve mile mark I rolled the 1000 mile mark on my cyclometer. I put this cyclometer on the bike right before my surgery in the spring, which means...

Whataweekend!
Monday…here we are again, sitting in this office, and thinking of all kinds of shit other than here. So to recap the weekend, I got the kiddos on Friday and had an incredible weekend. We started with the drive in double feature. The billboard said that GI Joe was first and followed by G Force, well that wasn’t the case so the kids made it thru G force and as the opening credits began...
Got My Ass Kicked By a Chick
So today I just smile about the ride! I have been pretty tired of the roads here in Mobertucky and was looking for a change, decided to head to Columbia and do some riding there, where the people are much more tollerant and the roads are so much nicer. I sent out some feelers looking for someone to ride with and got a response from an old co worker and former race teammate, she said she could ride...
